Somebody forgot to tell this guy Southerners pride themselves on civility

The guy who yelled "You Lie!" ...during President Obamas speech was Rep. Joe Wilson, Republican of South Carolina. Heckling the President of the United States on national television before a joint session of Congress? Why not just throw your shoe at him like that Iraqi journalist and call it a day? Unbelievable.

Oh, by the way...
"HR 3200 SEC. 246. NO FEDERAL PAYMENT FOR UNDOCUMENTED ALIENS: Nothing in this subtitle shall allow Federal payments for affordability credits on behalf of individuals who are not lawfully present in the United States."

Well, THAT was fast...

Headline: Joe Wilson Apologizes - ASAP

“This evening I let my emotions get the best of me when listening to the President’s remarks regarding the coverage of illegal immigrants in the health care bill. While I disagree with the President’s statement, my comments were inappropriate and regrettable. I extend sincere apologies to the President for this lack of civility.”

That’s Politician for, "I regret that my calculated, disruptive publicity stunt was met with popular hostility."

I mean, the guy was able to read advance copies of the speech, but his "emotions got the best of him"?

Puh-leeze.

  1. Joe Wilson from South Carolina, is just another good old boy where in the morning these married men preach to you that there should be prayer in our schools and in the evening they are on their cell phones setting up a date with their other women on the side, hypocrisy has been bred in. I am not surprised that he felt compel to yell like he was at some Friday night game. He is a hater not a debater like most of his side of the isle.
