is making a cake this morning. Not just any cake. a three layer monster for our daughter rachel's first birthday. The party is tomorrow. I'm rushed as I type this, because we have a wedding to leave for in 5 minutes. I am sure they will have a fancy cake there too. What is it about special occasions and cake? Maybe it helps to remind me to luxuriate in these precious moments that pass by so fast if I let them. I can let down my guard, get over myself, celebrate the amazing people in my life, and enjoy some cake.

and Congratulations to a great man of God, Jay Horsfall, on finally finding a woman that made him say "I do".
Can you believe Jay got Bride to play the reception? That's pretty much the coolest band that ever rocked a reception, hands down!
